End of the Year, 2020

Seems like everyone is pretty down on 2020. And it’s been interesting to say the least. I have no notions that 2021 will be magically different and better. Why should any of us think that? We roll with the circumstances we have, and do our best with the best attitude we can. Many things have been said along those lines, but yes, it is true. The only thing you can change is your attitude and approach to circumstances. One can endeavor to adjust circumstances as well, but really, attitude and approach is what we have at our control. Keep your chin up, and do good work this next year!

We call this one Lucky…

This ball has become our favorite over the summer. It’s perfectly weathered, feels great in your hand and hits the mit with a nice snap when thrown good and fast. And of course, when hit with a bat, it always makes a resounding ‘ting’ as it flys into the outfield.
We’ve had a great time with baseball this summer πŸ™‚

The Edge, Lego version.

This guy stopped by my desk yesterday to offer some sweet riffs while I pulled my hair out trying to recover data from a failed hard drive.
Looks like I was able to recover the necessary data, just many hours of copying and moving data between drives now before I can install a new drive and get back to work.
Thanks Lego The Edge.

Perfect summer day.

Truly, aside from a few issues like failed hard drives in the middle of finishing a big edit, and a DIY car repair, it couldn’t much nicer around my corner of the world πŸ™‚
